Changes to legislation are published in the Government Gazette. The common law is revised through cases which are reported at the discretion of editors of the various law journals. The dissemination of legal information is very passive in nature, the onus is placed on the public to seek out resources and keep themselves informed, else to rely on legal publishers to whom they must pay fees.
